• Note: This course is for the intermediate-level artist.
• Hard surface modeling. This is the creation of 3D models of mechanical or geometric objects, such as vehicles, buildings, weapons.
• It involves techniques such as extrusion, bevel, boolean and subdivision to create complex shapes and forms.
• Low poly modeling and UVs. This is the creation of 3D models that have a low number of polygons or faces to make them more suitable for real-time rendering and animation in games.
• It involves using techniques such as retopology, decimation, or optimization to reduce the polygon count and improve the performance and memory efficiency of the models. It also involves creating UV layouts and texture maps for the models.
• Software: Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter.
